Sponsors, hosts and volunteers invited to share their experience in a newly launched RISE project survey

IOM and Odisee University of Applied Sciences have launched a survey and invite residents who have hosted, sponsored or mentored forced migrants to share their experience in a survey. The survey seeks to explore the current Community Sponsorship schemes, which will in turn help strengthen solidarity initiatives and derive the best integration practices in Belgium, Italy and Lithuania.

This survey seeks to better understand their motivations and needs to provide more tailored support in upcoming Community Sponsorship schemes within the RISE project framework.

  • Survey Duration: 30 Minutes
  • Survey is available in English, Dutch, French, Italian, Lithuanian, Ukrainian, Russian
  • All responses are anonymous

RISE - Reinforcing Integration through Sponsorship Enhancement - project aims to develop, finetune or expand Community Sponsorship programmes in Belgium, Italy and Lithuania, focusing on forced migrants. Community sponsorship is a solidarity initiative where host country citizens play an active role by offering social, practical and emotional support in forced migrants’ integration journey, including helping them find housing and settle in their new societies, complementary to integration measures provided by the state.  Find more information about the project HERE.

RISE project is funded by EU through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (2021-2027).
