Students from France visited IOM Vilnius Office
On Monday, 4th July, students from CY Cergy University in Paris visited the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Vilnius Office. During the event, 19 visitors from France received a presentation from National Research and Legal Officer Vytautas Ežerskis and Senior Project Assistant Greta Kvietkauskaitė, both working at European Migration Network (EMN). The presentation highlighted IOM's role on the global stage and explained Organization's activities pursued in Lithuania.
Students also sought to enrich their knowledge on themes covering European migration policy, perception of migration in Lithuania, and the situation regarding the irregular migration flows organized by the Belarusian regime. Therefore, many interesting questions were addressed by the EMN experts.
By the end, V. Ežerskis and G. Kvietkauskaitė invited participants to participate in an interactive game in which winners received gifts prepared by the EMN team.
